Well. A fight is a combat match to the death or stalemate requiring staff solution once both parties are consulted. Assuming you meant a fight to the death which is what a fight is, disabling the opponent to that magnitude is a hefty thing to do. Removing the use of one of his/her arms is pretty serious.
A spar is the practice type match, where I believe both parties can be restored to full health via Roleplay. Still the fact you want to disable your opponent still warrants a heft XP cost.
