Checking out a few custom technique ideas I had. Naming style credit (short, simple names that epicly describe them) goes to Kaden. Block is effectively the same thing as Juno's former tech, "Shutdown," and See is effectively "Monitor," both of which were priced and bought. I just thought I'd recheck them. For the record, some of the abilities are listed as needing Telepathy, which I don't yet have. I'm planning on purchasing it soon depending on the prices of these techs.
Push— Using this technique, Juno can force a thought or idea upon a person upon contact. Used as an effective coercion technique, whether it be for urging someone against violence or for more casual encounters. (Telepathy)
Block— Using this technique, Juno invades the mind of a target, cutting off brain function and disabling a person’s ability to think clearly for several moments. The time limit is relative to the person’s power in comparison to Juno’s, and Juno must have direct contact with the target’s forehead for the attack to be effective. (Telepathy/Possession)
See— Using this technique, Juno is able to see through a target’s eyes, short of fully possessing them. As a point of clarification, Juno does not need direct contact to See someone, and is unable to use it on those with Telepathy or Ki Sense. (Possession)
Yield— Using this technique, Juno is able to make direct contact with an ally that has learned to control their inner energy and create a bond with them through ki. Though this will not allow them to speak through their minds as in telepathy, beneficial ability or techniques are shared for the bond’s length. Effectively, this is a passive form of Possession that lasts for thirty minutes, and leaves the caster and partner exhausted. This tech requires the use of 1 PP due to its potential power. (Possession/Ki Control)
Pop— Using this technique, Juno fires a basic ki blast, violet in color, at a predetermined target. Though he is able to control the direction of the blast, he cannot change its course once it is fired, and it is quite simple to dodge if the target is quick. However, it can be devastating if it ends in a direct hit. (Ki Control)
Ghost— Using this technique, Juno alters his vision to where he sees a translucent image of his adversary leave their body and perform their next move prior to the actual incident, effectively allowing him to remain aware when using Foresight and continue to battle the opponent. However, if not kept under control, this ability could severely disorient Juno, leaving him vulnerable. (Foresight)
I have two examples for the possible use of Yield that I thought of off the top of my head. If one participant was to have a vision using Foresight, the other would share the vision; if one participant wanted to heal the other without direct contact, it would be possible, though in a distinctly lesser capacity (ie, severe wounds could not be healed). If any of these examples (or ones you can think of) would cause the tech to be not allowed, I can make edits accordingly. Pop is, essentially, Kamehameha/Galick Gun for Juno.
