.50AE – [Upgrade: The Clint Eastwood] Trafford’s handguns have been upgraded! They now fire .50 calibre bullets. Because of this Alex infuses more energy into the cartridges than he has in the past, making them more explosive and more damaging upon contact. These infused bullets are Trafford’s versions of energy blasts, and they are now more powerful at a consistent and basic level.

(Note for pricing: The above technique is an upgrade to a previously purchased technique; it is the equivalent of Alex psychokinetically infusing more energy into each bullet. I did not think that this needed to be purchased, because I have ki specialization and psychokinesis and this technique is, ultimately, the equivalent of firing a more powerful energy ball, but I wanted to be sure, just in case.)

That's definitely fine, but the thing to aware of (which the description does not seem to be) is that firing more energy takes... more energy. So while the bullets may do more damage at a consistent and basic level, Trafford wouldn't be able to fire as many as he would of the weaker ones.

Firecracker – Trafford manifests a series of miniscule explosions in front of his opponent (the infusion of air particles or some such needless explanation can be used). This technique is used as a distraction and a diversion. They are essentially harmless, though they would sting if caught in the face.

Deterrent – Trafford creates a shockwave of energy that originates at his core and pushes outwards in a circle around him, effectively knocking back any opponent who he deems is too close. Essentially, Alex ignites the external layer of his body (be it his clothing or his skin) with energy than uses his talents at manipulating energy to force the coating outwards – away from his body. This separation of energy from his physical being creates a wall of explosive power that moves outwards at anything surrounding him. It is not damaging, but is really used as a deterrent against melee combat or an escape from melee combat.

.50AE - 5, but add in something about taking more energy or something akin to what I was saying above. Should be obvious to most people, but them's the brakes.
