You know what sucks? If I don't start accusing random people next game, then I'm obviously Mafia. If I keep doing so, then I must be Mafia trying to get rid of people. :'(
Edit: And that might be beneficial for the Mafia, yes. Then again, it might not be if we pick right. Someone last game didn't even get a chance to defend themselves before the lynch. A well-reasoned guy like yourself could do a lot during a slow, drawn-out lynching process to shift the spotlight to someone else.
Besides, it was Day 2 and the townies were 1 down with no leads whatsoever. Yeah, I could have thrown around accusations without putting the threat of lynch in it. But then again, the risk of a lynch would cause a lot more fumbling to save yourself, in the same way that simply accusing someone of murder is less-threatening than a gun pointed at their head.
