I don't like rap either, mainly for the same reason Burter stated. It stands for everything I don't, drugs, pimping, beating your women, killing other people. Not to mention it just sounds like a bunch of jumbled noise and hollering, like a sick donkey trying to mate.
I like music that has people who can actually sing and play an instrument, and mainly shake the foundation you stand upon making you look at the aspects of your life. You want some good music, go listen to Hoobastank or Alter Bridge.
