I as well lost my dog, but it's actually been some time since then. It's been about five and a half years ago now, but I distinctly remember it. My dog was named Ginger and she was probably the one I cared about most in the world, maybe even up to now. We think she accidentally consumed anti-freeze from what people dumped in the field behind our house. The night before she died it was raining outside and she was outside, so I was going to bring her in. I called a few times, but she didn't come, so I walked out into teh field just behind our fence, and she was there, betwene the fence and a tree, just standing there. I was frozen for a fe wminutes looking at her, I was so surprised that she was just standing there. Eventually I called, but she didn't come, so I had to get her, she tried to stay behind, but I couldn't just leave her out in the rain. It was as if she knew she were going to die. The next morning my sister ran into my room and woke me up, hysterical and saying that Ginger died. That was probably the most grieving I've ever gone through. I loved her.
I am sorry that this had to happen to you.
I am sorry that this had to happen to you.
