?All for one and one for all.? Proclaimed the silver haired gladiator as he kept pace with the elder Namekian and fused Sayajin.
The small clan made their way up a small rift in the ground, pushing themselves up over a small man made wall and hopping to the other side. Here they saw hundreds of yards of open land in all directions. The entire alliance paused for a brief moment to take in the over all beauty that stood before them and for a moment, they all felt complete peace.
The sky was lit up with all sorts of reds, oranges, and yellows. A tiny bit of clouds lingered over the island, but not enough to break the beauty of the scene. Birds flew over head in a ?V? formation in the distance, heading southward. A slight cool breeze came swirling in from the east, brushing against their skin and sending a cooling sensation down their spines. Small mounds of earth were scattered around the wide open plains, every inch covered by green grass. The scene was completed by a small glistening stream that lay parallel to the brick wall. It were as if they had fallen straight into a fairy tale, one filled with beauty and glee, but also one filled with death and destruction.
Sighing, Thirteen nodded his head, though it had no significance, everyone seemed to understand, and as one, they began their journey to an unknown location once again. This time, however, they all seemed to be filled with understanding and meaning, or so the silver maned machine believed as he glanced around. Noting the look on Trunks? face, he began to wonder why he had missed out on friends like him. One?s that were willing to die for the sake of another. Thoughts of Violet passed through his mind, but they faded quickly. She was here too and only one could win, meaning that if they survived until the end, one had to kill the other.
?So, what?s your story?? Kami asked the butterscotch toned man, giving him a once over. ?Why?d you join this deadly game??
Thirteen rolled the question around in his mind before trying to come to a definitive answer, he was tired of being caught off guard and looking like a complete moron, though he was seriously beginning to wonder if he really was. Searching and searching for the answer, the droid found that it was a bit more difficult to explain than he had expected.
?For the truth.? the answer had just rolled off his tongue.
The Namekian gave him a cross eyed stare.
?About what, if you don?t mind me asking.? Kami was interested, though Thirteen wondered if it were only because of lack of anything better to do.
?Oh, it?s nothing really.? It was a lie, but he didn?t want to get into his life story, not yet at least. ?Just a big gap in my life and I want to fill it, that?s all.?
Kami got the point and nodded, even though he was trying to hide it, the machine-hybrid was a terrible liar. Keeping his eye?s from android, the Namekian continued marching next to the halfling. Thirteen watched the two of them walk, they both seemed so elegant in their movements, it was something that he envied. Letting out a second sigh, the humanoid began to wonder if perhaps he could learn to find the trust and friendship that these people had together.
?One day.? thought Thirteen, day dreaming about the thought. ?One day...?
