Day One: Morning

The group continued moving along. Every now and then Kami would look over his shoulder to check on the the rest of the group. After Thirteen had a little trouble standing on his own he decided it wouldn't hurt to make sure everyone was keeping up. It also wasn't a bad idea to watch his own ass and make sure nobody was going to jump him. He looked over at Trunks who was still relativly quiet after his talk with the Android.

Garlic Jr. trotted up alongside Kami. The Namek looked down to the little goblin, and he spoke up "Getting tired of running in the back?"

Garlic shrugged his shoulders, "Someone has to do it...but I was wondering how you managed to do any damage with the hairbrush you've got in your bag. I noticed it earlier." The Namek smiled, he was well aware that his given weapon for the tournament was among the least effective thing he could have possibly been given. He didn't even have any hair.

"It's all about how you use it." he ran a hand across his bald head, "I obviously have to practical use for it, so I find other more abstract ways of using it. If you punch someone hard enough with anything it'll hurt like hell." Kami checked behind him once again. "How're you guys holding up? I don't want my team falling apart!" The guys behind him gave a reaffirming nod, letting the Namek know things were fine.

The small band of warriors carried on, keeping an eye out for possible targets or threats. Kami checked his scouter like Trunks had earlier and was anoyed by the range of the device. "I'd sure like to use my ki sense right now. We'd be picking off people left and right."

Trunks grunted in agreement, still deep in thought while keeping his head on a swivel to avoid being blindsided. Kami gave him a firm pat on the back but said nothing, figuring the action said enough. He wasn't sure why but these fighters pleased him, while all very different they seemed to form a solid team together. Their differences possibly being their strongest asset in the long run.
