To explain the whole politeness thing - by that, I mean having patience with people, even if they really get on your nerves. If they're just being impatient, then they don't really deserve your patience, and if they're being disrespectful towards you, then there's no reason to do the same back. However, if someone's trying their best, but failing miserably (ala sub-par joining roleplays) then it's nice to explain to them politely what they're doing wrong and try to help them improve. In other words, it's a mutual thing - you should start off giving someone else the respect, and if they don't give it back ... well, they're a jerk.
