Pre-Liminary Round 2: Raditzu's Group

Here's your second task:

As often happens during staff run sagas, a staffer might lose interest in what is going on, have life issues spring up, or just get out-right lazy. A common solution is to pick up where the last person left off, though this is not always as easy as it sounds. You will each get a number (determined by the order you submitted your previous task) and that will determined in what order you write a part of a saga. The first person chosen will PM me their submission. I will then choose a single sentence (maybe two if they're short) from that submission and post it for the next person. That person will use said sentence to write the next part of the saga and will repeat that for the next person and so on.

I want your submissions to be somewhere around 900 word/4,000 characters (without spaces). Not an exact, but gives you something to shoot for. The order for submissions are as follows:
