As soon as I started it up, I immediately knew that it wouldn't be as good as I kinda thought it would be. I'm not one for the super cutesy. A Wonderful Life was a beautiful atmosphere, even if the gameplay was slightly flawed. I knew they were going more cartoony with MM, but I didn't know they were going overboard with it.
Simply put, it's just too cutesy for me. That said, from what I've played so far, I'll definitely love it as a game, but I'm left wishing that Natsume took the games a bit more seriously. Perfect, it isn't. If they could take the face from A Wonderful Life, along with some better dialogue (which Natsume has NEVER been known for), then it would definitely get an A+ in my book. As it is, it's looking at an A-.
