What qualities do you think a saga should have?

Dear Lord, I can tell you a bunch. It's more than simply the qualities it needs, it's also very reliant on execution. The qualities also vary by type of saga, and I'll group most sagas into two main groups: Story-based and Tournament. The qualities vary for each:

Story-based
-An interesting storyline that can encompass almost any type of character and give them reason to enter, IC
-Multiple twists and turns that will keep the writers involved on their toes and constantly excited to know what's coming next
-A somewhat clear goal in sight at the end of the saga, something that they know will bring closure to the storyline
-An antagonist or antagonists that are well-developed characters with human-like traits, to make them interesting to deal with
-A time schedule for moving the saga along
-At least two staff members helping out on keeping the saga running. One person can TRY to do it, but it's just very, very difficult to handle alone. I'm learning this the hard way on FoF

Tournament
-Some kind of interesting backstory to why a tournament is being held
-An IC way to draw people into entering
-Lots of participants
-A few twists and switch-ups that will make things interesting

Obviously, a Tournament-styled saga is much easier than a Story-based one. Mixing the two together is probably the hardest to pull off.

How should a staff member act towards fellow staffers on public forums?

In my opinion, just like any other member: with respect. A staff member should treat a fellow staffer just like any ordinary member, except in times when rank is important when making important decisions on the staff board. Just because someone is on staff shouldn't alter their demeanor towards one another.
