How would you improve the RPG? You say that this is your main reason for wanting to be a moderator, so expand on that.

I think everyone, either member or staff, can have an influence on the RPG. However, there are some things that members can't do.

Running sagas is one. You can run your own non-reward sagas as a member, but without the reward incentive, a lot less people tend to join, and you can't affect the IC world in any big way.

Another thing members can't do is judge/grade. Though there's been something of a reverse-inflation in the way of Chubbs rewards in the past year or so, I feel I've still got a good grasp of what deserves what. People get pissed if their quest gets rejected, and then another quest gets the same reward they'd be getting, but with a lot less work. I feel I can deliver consistency in my rewards, and keep along the same guidelines the rest of the staff have set.

So, your ability to run sagas and update what needs to be updated will improve the RPG? In other words, you will be bringing to the table refinement in areas that are lacking? It's not arrogant to say yes, I just want to make sure that you and I are understanding one another. Keep in mind that I'm not asking how your job as a staff member will differentiate from that of an ordinary member, but rather how you intend on improving the RPG as a whole due to being on staff.

I wouldn't say the RPG is lacking in those respects. But more of a good thing is never a bad thing. Simply adding more capable staff, who can get to grading and updates whilst the other staff are offline, is one kind of improvement. It lets the higher-ups distribute their time among other things like content and sagas.

If you mean improvements to the system itself, as opposed to just general maintenance, then I definitely have ideas I feel could be used improve the RPG. One example is the warning system on DBA, which I created, may be being incorporated on Chubbs soon. One of the staffers approached me about it, and I didn't mind them using it. That's one thing I would count as an improvement. I've also got other ideas that are more in the planning stages that I'd love to discuss with Chubbs staff, some of which are being used on DBA.
