My writing style

Alright guys, time for serious discussion. If you have never read one of my roleplays, this topic won't interest you. There are one of two solutions: Either read some of my roleplays (obviously the best answer), or leave the topic. You can read it, but it won't be worthwhile to either of us.

As many of you know, I lean more towards a humorous approach to writing. Fights tend to be very light, instead of stressful and such. My question is this: Is this style of writing still working for you guys, and does it still seem to work for me? In other words, is the writing style practical for me as a writer, or should it be used more sparingly in light of more "serious" writing?

Question number two: What are your thoughts on me switching characters? While I'm certainly not planning to right now, it is an idea that's twiddling around in my mind, now. There aren't any currently open characters that interest me, but I would not mind roleplaying as Android 17 or Piccolo, should either of them open up. My ultimate decision will probably be against this, but I'm still interested in your opinions, now that I've got your attention.

Yeah, this topic is a little egocentric, I suppose. But, oh well.
