I've read the first four of Merry Gentry. They have a very different tone, I like how that series is basically one huge arc. I can't wait to get my hand on 'Mistal's Kiss'.

I want a hand of power...Hell i just want to be Darkness. Where Anita Blake has sort of gone off track, (I'm really REALLY sick of Richard), Merry Gentry seems better thought out, like there might actually be an ending instead of where she keep churning out Anita Blake books that seem very close to clones of others. Though...she already has me hooked and I'll keep reading them until she stops.

I couldn't find Blood Noir at Book-A-million I could only find it at Barns&Noble.
