Knight Fall: It's long, three pretty large graphic novels long, but it's EPIC! This is the 90's tale of Batman(Bruce Wayne) almost mentally unraveling after some brutal nights on the job. Then of course comes Bane, super awesome steroid guzzling monster, who breaks Batman's back paralysing him and forcing him to retire and pass on the the mask and mantel. A great read.

Well anyway this book is probably the most famous and critically acclaimed Batman comic series of the new millennium. You can't go wrong here.
