Bardock and Piccolo are your representatives, and you agreed to this (at least for Piccolo, I believe), so their word will be taken over yours. You can dismiss Piccolo, if you wish, but then Bardock will be your source, and if something happens there, you could be gone again (I do not say that definiteively since it is only my opinion).
