Its also possible that I'm just playing Devil's Advocate, Rec. If his desire to switch is so weak that it will be dissuaded in a couple of posts, how can he possibly give Tapion a better run than Pikkon?
We've been hearing the "I made mistakes with my character" complaint a lot lately. You know who's fault that is? Yours. (Speak in generalities now, not to a specific person) And the fact of the matter is that its a mistake you can change. I didn't like the way I had made Rad a few years ago. You know what I did? I changed him. I didn't like him after I made that change, so I did it again. You don't have to go a complete 180 in two posts. It can be a gradual change, incorporating various people, places, and events throughout the CDBZ universe. It gives you something to work with, challenges your roleplaying and abilities, and will make you a better writer for doing it nine times out of ten.
Switching characters, to me, is the same as saying "I'm not good enough, I give up."
