And you just perfectly summed up what 90% of our members don't seem to get. Nappa has no past on Chubbs. He wasn't a servant and warrior to the Pince Vegeta, and never died at the hands of Goku. If you want him to have been a saiyan abandoned on some alien planet and brought up without ever knowing he was actually a saiyan, that's fine.

For a long, long while Raditzu was far from being a blood-lusting brute. He was happy-go-lucky and completely free from any racial lust for battle.

Locking yourself into these preconcieved notions of what Nappa "is" just hurts you as a writer and completely limits your ability to do with him what you want. There is absolutely no reason Nappa can't be free from the saiyan stereotypes. We have an entire planet of NPCs to fill that role.

And thanks for what you said in your edit. I have never gotten upset when discussing a character change with a member and won't do so now.
