Are we allowed to go into the water squares? Ya know, like, go swimming or something? Not saying I would, because Android + Water = Bad Day, but just wanting to know if other people could possibly move out there.

No. Water is off-limits to travel on. You could go for a swim or something on one of the beach squares
Could we go for a swim without us (androids) explosoming?

Is there such thing as having a better position than your opponent? As in, if I were to bunker down in a foxhole with, for example: the ki rifle, would that put me in a better position to fight?

It could give BJ an idea of how to have somebody die--like you could even misfire and kill somebody else, or get a lucky shot. It wouldn't be a deciding factor, though.

No. BJ has stated that different places don't give advantages, they're just for roleplaying fodder.

I think that he was asking more for a position, like if I'm at the top of a hill and shooting down at you, I'd have the advantage, or if I were in a foxhole, there would be less of a chance that I would get hit and a better chance of me killing you.
Yeah, I think someone asked about that in the chat, that's what I mean. BJ could use it for roleplaying fodder, but in terms of who wins and who loses, there won't be any advantages.

Someone throw in a fight they'd like to see and I'll make a random sample fight again out of boredom.
Me versus Silver. *shrugs*

Name the other person and you got it

Bujin and Burter Jr

Burter Jr
RPs: 7
Weapon: Unknown
Injuries: None
Allies: None

Bujin

Alright. So this is how fights work completely.

When I find out about a fight, I'll post the two first lines up at the top and the tale of the tape and that's it. This allows time for predictions and discussion in the OOC forum. Then, when I finish writing, I'll edit it in and announce I've finished.

The Tale of the Tape is just a way to encourage discussion and predictions. BJ's weapon is unknown because it's assumed he hasn't revealed it to the public as of yet.
No. I don't find that fair, to be honest. Someone will always survive.

It's possible to walk away mortally wounded, though.
Chances are this mighth ave been mentioned before. But can we influence these fights in any way? Or do you just set about writing them with a random winner in mind?

You mean the sample fights I'm writing, or the actual fights in the game?

The sample fights are just for laughs, so sure, you can influence them.

The actual fights, no, you can't influence them from the outside

Quote:Basically, there will be a map that everyone will travel on. When people that are not in an alliance pop into the same square, a fight will be written up. Usually, someone will be eliminated as a result of the fight. The fights are judged (by me), with the following things in mind:

--Writing, first and foremost. Quality over Quantity, but of course 9 good rps will beat 1 great rp. What I look for is "am I interested in seeing the character continue in the game?" I'll warn people that long novel posts bore me, but if they do it right, it could be a huge advantage.

--Ki Level. Someone who has 1 ki better be spitting out Stephen King quality rps if he wants to beat someone with 1,000 ki. Power-Ups come into play too. If you wanna use a power-up, you just lemme know that you'll use a power-up in the next fight you're in. However, you'll be tired for a certain amount of time (6 hours for 10x, 15x and 20x. 12 hours for x40. 18 hours for fusion and 24 hours if a third tier is reached with the help of an item). Being tired will be a slight disadvantage in fights, and you can't power-up again till you arn't tired anymore.

--Alliances. 6 on 1 is obviously better odds then 1 on 1. At least, it is for the 6 =x. But of course, if the 1 is a magnificent rper, he could live.

--Injuries, which will be gained as a result of fights. If you barely survive a fight (like a close judged fight), the injury will be more serious. If it's a landslide win, you likely will get away unscathed.

--Weapons. Obviously someone who has something like a machine gun Ki Rifle is gonna have a slight advantage over someone who has a spoon.

--Mental Stats play the tiebreaker role.
