On a serious note, if you watch her face when everybody starts laughing, you can see she's kind of hurt. =( Or kind of enjoys the irony of it all. It's hard to tell.

And like going through some of her old interviews and stuff, like Ashe said, everything makes so much more sense now. It's kind of sad because I thought she was trying too hard to seem like a popstar bitch, but she was just having to hide who she really was from the world. Do we not all wear masks? Aren't there things about ourselves that we would rather not want anyone else to know about, for fear of ridicule or isolation? In all seriousness, it's pretty sad. It's not like she could have just been open about this from day one, she was a stripper as a teenager and apparently was into really heavy drug use. She's obviously been struggling with her identity forever. And then she was a stripper (did customers know or not? I HAVE TO KNOW), and later started with the music. At that point she had to become this over-glammed feminine slut to market herself and her music successfully, because that's what you have to do these days. Her career is probably over, at least from the angle she was coming from before (sex symbol). I'll still enjoy her music probably but the lusting part is over. Probably... oh god...

To be honest, I always thought there was something odd about her. Namely, her facial features look rather male, but I just let it fly as her being ugly, and the way she talks, generally. Haven't watched any interviews while paying any real attention, but from occasional snippets I saw while on TV or something, it seemed...odd.

I don't care either way. I wouldn't care even if I was 'lusting' for her. The only difference would be if I was currently dating her, in that I'd need some pretty huge trust in her to make sure I'm not thrust from her while in bed.

Well, depends what you understand by lust. I might have misunderstood it as idolising, ignoring reality, etc. Since that's generally what I think of as lusting. I still find attraction towards a celebrity you haven't ever met, nor do you have a chance to meet (and I don't mean getting an autograph), being limited somewhere around 'I find her attractive'. Then again, it's not my type to do things like that. That, and I generally wouldn't like celebrities, because I know the reality behind the scene, and what most female celebrities do 'backstage'. Bulimia, and all that.
