Ki Tank - The ability to create a reservoir of energy (up to half of total ki) that can be separated from the body, much like a ki blast, except that the purpose of the energy is to simply exist and provide needed energy, should the user require it. Such tanks are detectable by Ki Sense (unless you have Ki Sense 1-3), and cannot be used by the enemy. If anyone except the creator of the reservoir comes in contact with the reservoir, the two beings will simply bounce off. If an enemy blast touches the reservoir with sufficient power and velocity, the reservoir will explode (the higher the amount of energy, the more devastating the explosion). Thus, such reservoirs can double as a mine of sorts. These reservoirs could be used to transfer Ki from one being to another, but this requires Ki Sense (3), and can be dangerous, if the receiver does not have sufficient capacity. As a rule of thumb, the warrior's body cannot handle 150% of its Total Ki (though, in desperate circumstances, warriors have been known to transcend such limitations).
Ki Well - The ability to create an area of negative Ki, which warps all instances of ki outside of a body (and, if sufficiently strong, could actually draw in embodied ki). A black hole, of sorts. It works both ways (that is, the creator's ki energy is also affected by this technique), cannot be detected except by Ki Sense (4), and has no effect on matter whatsoever. A body can pass harmlessly through negative Ki. Such negative rifts are dangerous, however, and if they are too overloaded with Ki energy, they could explode violently, releasing all Ki encased within.

I'm not saying it shouldn't be a reward. I'm just saying if I was on staff I would never give it as a reward because unlike Spiritken/Super Saiyan, it is a specific tech with a specific trainer that is the only person in the Chubbs Universe that can teach you how to unlock your power in that manner. I would prefer a free ticket to Kaio's instead of being immediately rewarded Kaioken.

I don't understand. Weren't you just whining that Kaioken was a specific tech with a specific trainer, or was that someone else?

It works both ways, Krill. I said there should be significant replacement for Kaioken for nontransformers, but then as a side note I also think the power of Kaioken should be greatly revised because of the sacrifice required to get it which I for one am not willing to make just yet. In short, I'll post a separate post explaining this once I get it all cleaned up in my head.

SSJ requires an emotional burst of energy.
SNS is easy-forsheezy. Androids buy it, but need an emotional burst. Changelings have to put up with tons of intermediary stages. Nontransformers get their own special (easily obtained) x20, through Spiritken. x40's are rare. Methinks it's a little early for you to be thinking about one anyway.

It absorbs Ki energy. Think of a black hole in space; it does the same thing as that, except only for Ki.
Sorta like Yakon, from the Buu Saga. But, again, it goes both ways. It's a good equalizer, if someone doesn't want to fight Ki attacks, but it isn't indestructible. If overloaded with Ki (I'm not giving a mathematical formula here, since everything is pretty much tied to roleplaying anyway), it explodes. It requires a large amount of Ki to create in the first place, as well, and the size and strength of the rift can be scaled according to how much Ki is used to create it.

@Krill: I'm not solely concerned about myself, you know. Though it would be nice to know my possibilities in the long run. Think about it: Saiyans and Nameks and Changelings don't have to die to earn their x40. They just have to 'roleplay well.'
--- POWER-UPS Nontransformer – x20 power up Unlocked Potential - Unlocked by training with Guru on Namek or by an emotional trigger, nontransformers earn this power-up by learning to focus their energy and then, at last, learn to use it to unlock their reserves of energy that have been dormant for many years. This is, in essence, the same process that a Super Saiya-jin or Super Namekian would go through when unlocking their next tier of power. Their appearance would change only slightly in that their hair would spike up, but remain the same color. Nontransformer – x40 power up Unleashed Potential – After having trained significantly on controlling your Unlocked Potential, some very skilled nontransformers gain the ability to take that energy and expand it to fill more ki valves in their body, thereby doubling the energy that they had gained from unlocking this potential. Unleashed Potential is the nontransformer’s answer to Super Saiya-jin 2 or Ultra Namekian. The sheer amount of ki emulating from the nontransformer’s body in this state may cause them to bulk up tremendously, or perhaps look “frazzled.” Nontransformer x5 – spiritken Nontransformer x10 – spiritken trained Saiya-jin – x20 power up Super Saiya-Jin (SSJ)- This is an ability exclusive to those of the saiya-jin race. Using a burst of rage as a catalyst, a saiya-jin can boost their strength beyond its normal limits by transforming their body. This transformation is marked by their hair changing to a golden-blonde. The same color change happens in the color of their ki aura. The transformation, at first, is taxing on both the body and the mind. Since the transformation is fueled by rage, a saiya-jin that has not practiced this often loses themselves in the overwhelming anger. Saiya-jin – x40 power up Super Saiya-Jin 2(SSJ2)- Even without having gone through the first transformation, it is possible for a saiya-jin to transform their body even further. Similar to the first transformation, the physical changes are bright golden hair standing straight up, and teal green eyes, with a golden aura imbued with electricity. Similar to the first transformation, if a saiya-jin has recently ascended, he will find himself consumed by the primal instinct and fighting for control. Saiyan x5 – oozaru Saiyan x10 – oozaru trained Namekian – x20 power up Super Namekian (SNS)- Unlike the similar transformation of the Saiya-jin race, the Nameks ascend into their enhanced form with greater ease, requiring no emotional trauma, but rather focused intense training on their home planet. As a result of the control that they have over when they ascend, and their method of training, their physical structure must be slightly more powerful than that of the other races. Changeling x5 – x40 Transformations (Transformation_1, 2, 3, 4, Ultimate)- This applies to all other characters that have the ability to transform (ex. Frieza, Garlic Jr. etc...). The requirements for the transformations are as follows: (Note: these are the minimum requirements, and do not guarantee that you will get the technique.) All species Kaioken (Trained)- While on Kaiosama's planet, Humans and Non-Transformers will find that they are not hindered by the physical limitations of other races, and this will allow their bodies to surpass those to an even further level of Kaioken Super Kaioken (SKK)- After completing training with King Kai, a rare few may find themselves invited to train with Dai Kaiosama. There, Humans and Non-Transformers will find a spiritual center within themselves, allowing them to harness the energies of the very universe to channel into their Kaioken, transcending into Super Kaioken. The reason I think Kaioken should be for all species is based around the fact that Piccolo did earn it in the television show. ![]() When you're dancing her dance, you don't stand a chance Her grip of romance makes you fall! This isn't the television show.
Saiya-jin require an emotional burst. Non-transformers can friggin' BUY a x20 (unless they removed that Enhanced Bio Armor thing from the Shop). No questions asked. Things are quite even, I'd argue. If you don't like Kaioken as it is, talk to Staff and see if you can work something out. I believe an old Uub was allowed to do a custom power-up system. If you're that passionately anti-KK, ask.

Did you not read the first post of this thread Chris? O_o
And having to die to get a powerup that others can get without dieing doesn't seem fair to me.

I'm not anti-KK. I strive for KK. I'm just making conversation. =]
But on another note, I do like your idea about giving flight tiers. I also think it would be neat for people to have to learn ki control. ![]() When you're dancing her dance, you don't stand a chance Her grip of romance makes you fall! That's pretty much Turnover. Let's stick to the basics.

There's also a bonus for having to die to get it, Bojack. The "First Tier" of the non-transformers line is x25.

Actually, Spiritken is x10
EDIT: And the only reason I'm looking at things in this manner is I'm quite OCD about these types of things. Might as well allow vampires if I have to die to get a competitive powerup.
