Except on Chubbs, Kol is pretty close in strength to Turles.

And Turles was relying on fruit to increase his strength instead of natural ability/training. =< Like vegetative steroids.

Also, considering the fact that the two Saiyans in the RoTaS didn't actually have to try against the Z-fighters, their full strength was unknown.

They were said to be weaker then the Saiyans, so they had to be below Nappa's 5000. I think it was said that the saiyans were x2 stronger, but I don't remember that clearly.

I think Turles was pretty strong before the fruit. Not as tough as Vegeta or anything, but tougher then Nappa.

Edit: Yeah, the Z fighters weren't good against them. XD.

He said he ate the fruit countless times. Meaning the majority of his power came from it, and without it, he was probably a pansy.

I liked Turles.

Goku used Kaio-Ken x10 in Tree of Might and still got spanked by Turles, so Turles had to be more powerful than Nappa and Vegeta.

EDIT: Keep in mind this occurred after Turles ate the fruit.

So comparing it to the series is kinda pointless.

Well, Turles states in the movie that he was born a low class warrior. So he was probably no stronger than Raditz, possibly weaker. That is until he became a nomad of course.

Turles was cool because his personality was just.. so much cooler then the rest of the Saiyans I remember. At least to me. I mean.. Raditz was just... full of himself, Nappa was a hulk, Vegeta had some depth in the Saiyan Saga.. but.

Turles had a cool personality, and a cool way he died.

Most likely he was relativly weak while still in the Saiyan Community. But who knows. Broly (Although a very unique individual), was born with a Powerlevel of 10,000 and Low Class.

Spice: Actually, he was probably as weak as Goku during the Raditz Saga. Since I think it's safe to assume he and Goku are the same age, and Turles didn't get any awesome training. Raditz on the other hand fought alongside Vegeta and Nappa to conquer planets regularly.

Akane: Raditz was just full of himself because everyone on Earth was less then half his strength. I'd be pretty full of myself it that was me too.
