Is this one of those servers that if I'm, you know, broke I can still play without buying the game and paying monthly? I'm interested in WoW, but never played it.

No it isn't like Guild Wars. If you end up going broke you can't play.

You can buy the game and probably do private servers that other people host but most likely you'll have to do some research to find them, I know most other mmorpg's had private servers that were free of charge that 3rd party people ran but don't expect a big population or anyone from Chubbs to probably join you.

What's the cost of respecing? Is it free or how does it work?


Also I can't decide between a Druid or Hunter for PvPing.

Do you guys have a site with up to date builds and information? Only thing I can find is from like 2005-2006

Best place that I've found(I've only really played a Rogue mind you), would be the actual WoW forums.

Respecing is free(cant remember) for the first, 5g the second, 10g the third, and it goes up by so much after that. If you don't respec for a awhile(a long one at that), then the price goes down again, but only to 10g.

Feral Druid's don't stack up against rogues, 'least in my experience. Hunter are good for kiting, and are what I have the hardest time with. Not because of their kiting, but because of their friggin pets.

The cap for respec is 50g, and I think they might have removed the part where it goes down over time. Mine was at 15g for a long time, now it's 40g lol.

GG, if you want to solo a lot, hunter is great. Druid can be rough to level, I know I found it a bit hard on my own.

Lol, all chicks play druid NE, hell I started as one, only got to 12.

My guild is going to kick me because they want to get rid of "loafers". I work so much, I don't want to come home to a game that feels like another job. So that kind of sucks. If I were alliance I'd transfer and join you guys.

I've got a couple characters on Altar. The only one I really play is my Draenei Hunter. Name's Turanga. She's lvl 12 right now. She's actually my main Alt (that's weird sounding). My main is on Frostwolf. Lvl 22 Blood Elf Pally.

Horde will always be better than Alliance. I mean, who would want to be on the side of two races who's combined height is that of a letterbox?

Dude, I don't think there is anything more annoying than trying to kill one boss repeatedly attempting to get a certain item to drop, and everytime getting the same exact drop that you don't care about. I'm trying to level Enchanting, and for gold purposes decided to try to farm the Fiery Weapon enchant for twinks. I go kill that Pyromancer five times, and get the S____ something Pants five times, which I immediately shard. I just wish the jerk off would have given me the enchant. I spent more on repairs after from BRD soloing than it would have taken for the enchant, but at least I got alot of Shards to use. I couldn't manage to get into the back to solo in my MC attunement though, which sucks. Nor could I get the Shadowforge key solo.
