MGS3 and God of War had endbosses that were harder than all the others. At least, imo... and those are about the only games I've played in the last 5 years.

It's hard for me to even consider the final boss in GOW 2 as a boss battle, all you had to do was fire the hammer of dawn...

Just completed this. What a friggin' awesome game. Like an action movie from start to finish, with a suitably epic ending. It's overblown but that's what's so fun about it.

That Maria bit was super intense, though.

Cole is still the best character ever (well ... he is voiced by, and is, for all intents and purposes, Terry Tate). I laughed at Baird's "don't start with that juice shit again" line because the first time I saw any imulsion in GoW2 I couldn't help but think "lookit all dat juiiiiiceeee!"
