Things run at you? I'm a warlock; I'm used to things running AWAY from me while they just randomly slowly die of various ailments while I just watch them run in circles till they die.

Edit: Actually I didn't die from the drop off the clife. It was a gang of bears at the bottom, which clawed and bit me.

I doubt it was either of them. I've feared people on boats, and they didn't run off. I rarely see Fear take someone over the edge of anything, just run away from me.

What happened to you was a Priest Mind Controlled you into walking off a cliff. They do it all the time for laughs. If they do it after hitting a guard, it transfers the aggro to you and the guards kill you. They can also force you to attack the guard, which sucks. I hate MC, but I saw it finally used for PVE applications the other day and it was pretty cool, but for PVP, I hate that crap. AND they have Fear ward which nixes me.

It was quite a while back now, when I was a newb to the game. Not only that, but when my friend Adam used to play the game he faced someone in the water, again I think it was a priest since he used that "fear" thing. He made my friend go DOWN into the water. And then, well, drowned him. Funny though. To me. >.>

Mind Control, again. Priests can do a "fear" move too, Psychic Scream. But Fear affects won't send someone over the edge or into water or anything unless they are swimming on top. I've NEVER seen anyone get killed from a random fear move. But that doesn't mean people are willing to try, if I position myself correct on a boat. Horde seem to refuse to mess with me on boats b/c they are afraid I'll fear them off it. I can't, but they shouldn't know that. Priests can drown you with MC though, it sucks. I want to make a priest. Shaman too, but Shammies are great for solo, but have no end game at all.

I'm not of the name of it. Probably mind control, a little thing appears over there head on one of them. But yeah, my friend was actually in the water with the guy, and he drowned my friend.

Little known fact: I'll never drown. I can cast Unending Breath on myself and anyone else to give free breathing underwater for ten minutes. So if someone is wanting to gank me, I can go under water with it and fight them there. I can then fear them while we are down there, which YES, will drown them if they don't gtfo.

Told you Warlocks were fun.

Put it this way. I went to Shadow Hold. The guide told me "find a partner if you can to be Lord Fandango" (similar name) because he has two Succubi for pets next to him. It said he had tried it with multiple classes and had a hard time b/c the Succubi would fear him alot.

I walked into that room, sacced my VoidWalker that I had so as to get a protection bubble, I then ENSLAVED one of the Succubi (so that it did what I told it to do) and turned around and BANISHED the other one, meaning it sat there and chilled for the next thirty seconds. Then I used the first Succubus to beat the dogcrap out of the Lord guy. The second one broke Banishment, the first one killed the second one. Then enslavement wore off, I nuked the crap out of it since I'd been sitting on full mana.

It was that easy.

He's right, despite how often I want to scream since my gnome seems to run slower. Its all perception; my guy is shorter thus the screen seems to move slower b/c I"m lower to the ground I guess. NE's DO move faster in ghost form since they change to Wisps, but meh.

You switched them btw. Life Tap converts my health into Mana, and then Drain Health (maybe Drain Life) takes from opponent into me. Drain Soul is what we use to get Soul Shards for things.

I'm honestly glad I chose this as my first class, and my being at 59 when I rarely ever get past midrange in an MMO is testament to that.

Personally, I like Tauren. They have the highest strength in the game, the second highest stamina, which isn't a big deal when they have their health bonus anyway, and the ability to stomp. A tauren Warrior is a fearsome thing to deal with.

Let me clarify for you.

You were referring to Doomguard, that little tiny prick of a demon.

I was referring to Felguard, the top of the Demon chain.

He uses Cleave. He uses Intercept. He taunts globally. He has fantastic stats to Soul Link with. He has a self buff Demon Frenzy. He has an ability that lets him Avoidance on AoEs. He stuns.

He slices, he dies, he can cut frozen meet and still thinly slice a tomatoe.

He rips things apart.

Although I still like Felguard for pvp.

I'm 60 now.

Warlocks and Hunters are the two most sickest classes right now due to the patch changes and new talents, and I'm loving it. The BC stuff has been kicked in.

EDIT: Dots also will be stronger due to my stats affecting them, and my stats roll to my pets too. And Spellstone just got useable, very nicely, along with the fact that Gnomes and their Escape Artist ability are now Instant Cast. And we can make Howl of Terror, our AoE fear instant as well.

Just to clarify; this guy requires no enslaving of any form. In fact, once he's out, I can respec to Affliction tree and go to battlegrounds and keep him.

They gave us new toys early.

Lots of downsides though. Things are glitching. Soulshards are NOT being reimbursed by the arena as promised, meaning when we enter, it removes any Healthstones, Soulstones, Pets, etc, but then makes us use shards to resummon. This means that we blow AT LEAST 3 Soulshards a play, not counting Shadowburn and Soul Fire. AND Shadowburn isn't giving us our Soulshard that its supposed to give when we make a kill if that kill is made in the arena.

Also, since the two factions are getting the new classes, their equipment has already been added to loot tables. So there are already raid groups wiping a few times in instances just to get to the main guy and then they kill them, as Alliance, to get two copies of Ten Storms something or another epic Shammy shoulders, along with some Shammy pants, all currently unuseable.

You can say that again, the sever has crashed out 4 times today -.- im actually waiting for it to come back on because I was literally 5 feet from the quest giver, I was just about to collect my reward too which was just enough for me to level. >=o
