Ice Regen: Using both of his innate abilities Cain covers himself in a block of ice, thick, but not hard enough to defend against attacks. It's used for quick recovery, and leaves him very vulnerable. Because this rushes the regenerative systems so much it can only be used once a day. Won't recover fatal attacks.

Can it have an optional One PP requirement for use for bad injuries? A broken leg, say.

I don't see a problem with that, just make sure you're clear that it has two available healing "potentials" so to say.

Don't Bring That Kool-Aid to a Man's Party - Taking advantage of his psychokinetic abilities, coupled with his natural affinity at manipulating energy, Trafford has devised an ingenius defense mechanism. When faced with incoming energy attacks, Alex can overload the attack with his own energy augmentation and prematurely detonate the attack. This is especially useful when he isn't paying attention and turns just in time to see an energy attack, and he can detonate the attack to lessen the damage. The effect the detonation has on the attack depends on the strength of the attack. If the incoming energy is far too strong, it will prove ineffective or, at most, detonate a small segment of the attack and divert its course. If it is on par with Alex's ability, or weaker, than he can probably detonate the attack. The proximity of the attack to his body determines the damage he takes.

Takeshi Wrote:Gurip - Utilizing the basic aspects of his psychokinetic ability Takeshi is capable of lifting, tossing and controlling an opponents mid-air movements. Control of course depends on the opponents mastery of flight and/or telekinetic powers. Distance also plays a major factor. While using this technique Takeshi can't move and his defenses are down. >.>
Medicicle: Combining her healing abilities with her power over ice, Sage has come up with a somewhat strange mechanic for restoring fallen comrades. By creating popsicles imbued with healing properties, Sage can dole out the confections to several people at once, thereby aiding as many people in as short a time as possible, making them very useful in a large-scale disaster situation. The healing effect these popsicles have are fairly weak, able to heal minor wounds only. Additionally, if a patient is uncooperative and refuses to eat the enhanced freeze pop, its effects are useless.

Takeshi - This is from the staff forum. We have a couple questions:
Quote:What is the opponent intended to be doing while held? I initially imagined it as one of those "hey something invisible has me, so I'm going to thrash around violently" kind of moves, but the description is non-specific. If he intends to have total control (ie they can't try to hit him with a ki blast while he's throwing them around) over someone he's "grabbed" then that will skyrocket the price. ![]()

I feel like I'm going before a grand jury. -adjusts tie-
The user would only control the movements to a certain degree, the opponent would be able to grab onto things, hurl ki/weapons/kicks if close enough and resist the hold depending on their mastery of flight and/or psycho/tele-kinesis. It is essentially the force grip technique, donno if any of you've played the Force Unleashed.

So essentially while being held, they can writhe and toss things at you? Including KI?

Actually, Kaden priced Gurip in that form at 40 xp.
We'll have to go with that since he's admin and we're not. ^_^;; ![]()

Catch - While not nearly as sturdy or agile as other super-powered warriors, Kaden devised this technique as a means of defending himself from energy attacks. By coating his palms in a thin layer of cerulean energy, Kaden can simply stop energy attacks with an out-stretched hand. This technique has no offensive uses.
