Because fuck guys 4700 gearscore is way too low for trash.
I ran a 5 man with a 6103 tank the other day. Easiest guy to heal...ever.

My Frost Mage has about 2500 wow-heroes GS and still manages to outperform lots of people with higher GS (often much higher GS) in 25-mans when they give me a chance.
I'm also usually #1 when you looks at Performance per GS, a new option on Recount.

Edit: Damn, picture wouldn't work.
I agree, Tuskarr would be a cool horde exclusive race.

Holysheet the GS is insane, it's like "LFH must send achiev and have GS at least +5.5k for 25 Man VoA"

That actually irritates me lately. No matter where you go, you must link the achievement to say you've done it on THAT CHARACTER before (even as dps), and have a "gear score" that is more than triple what the place actually requires. As I always say, it reminds me of the stupidity of that raid leader that would insist on you being fully Tier 5 geared to run Karazhan, a raid that was tuned for Heroic 5-man level gear and dropped Tier 4. Meaning if there was anything you could get, you wouldn't "be good enough" in gear to actually go. This usually was just a way for the guys setting it up to make sure they got all the drops.

The game has changed a lot. It's mechanics are no where near what they were when Raids were about skill and not gear score. In my personal opinion it stems from the fact that Blizzard took the work out of obtaining the gear.
While this new system harbors players who don't enjoy 40 man raids, it's made the community adapt so that they can't achieve ICC without getting complete idiots. This is the case on my server. Stormreaver is brutal for this. Heroic 10 or 25 TOC want gear scores of 5k.
I'm rocking 20k crits on my Holy Light casts and my gear score is 4.5k and I struggle healing ToC 10. That's where my second opinion starts. From what I've seen, they've increased the dependancy on gear by a shit ton. I'm stacking +20 Int gems on ALL OF MY SLOTTED GEAR and I'm not even breaking 25k unbuffed with my mana pool.
I was healing Zul Gurub in some Greens on my 60 priest back in the day. Nobody cared. I was getting the job done.

I would probably play this game again if I was guaranteed to transfer to a server where all Chubbsians were. Otherwise, there's too many cocks in the game.

I'd agree, except that the lich king encounter is hard as FUCK. Much harder then Illidian ever was. You need a good amount of gear, but the mechanics of the fight are what makes it hard. If one person stands in his aoe for a few seconds, the entire raid is gone. And that's not something he does ocassionaly.. He always drops it on a target, constantly.
Some of the fight mechanics are easy, mainly TOC, but Putricide, Sindragosa, and Arthas are still hard encounter fights.
