Imma Chargin Mah Lazer - Should his hands be bound, the Captain to the Space Stallion can unleash a mid-power ki blast from his mouth.

If Looks Could Kill - Captain Edward Reynolds can also shoot low-strength energy blasts from his dashing, steely eyes.

My C**K is Bigger - Using his psychokinetic powers, Edward can short-circuit/super-charge an opponent's energy attack, forcing it to explode prematurely. This requires a few moments, which means the pirate needs to be far enough away to detonate the on-coming attack, lest he blow it up in front of his face.

Mud in Your Eye - Edward can generate an adhesive form of energy, which will stick to surfaces, including the faces or body parts of his opponents. Edward can then augment this adhesive energy from afar and blow it up or even just use the distraction to run away.

Particulate Matter - Using a handful of sand or dirt (or even something like powderized glass or salt--anything that has tons of little tiny pieces), Edward can infused these particles/pieces with ki and utilize them in combat for various effects. He could use them as tiny explosives, seed an area with them as a trap, or even hurtle them at an on-coming attack to blow up or impede said attack.

Forward Salvo - Using Psychokinesis, Captain Edward Reynolds can masterfully contol the path of his energy attacks. He can also use this technique to deflect or reflect incoming attacks. The stronger the attack (enemy or friendly), the harder it is for Edward to manipulate the attack. Edward also cannot see where the attack is going, thus he can't just blow the shit out of something on the other side of the globe.

You Scurvy Dog - Edward Reynolds can utilize his regenerative powers to grind down the course of foreign poisons or infections. This allows him to fight off the effects as long as he can maintain the concentration (thus he cannot use this technique to mitigate the effect of Venomous Ki), but he can use it to fight off a slow-acting poison until he can get somewhere with an antidote.

Seismic Sense: The child can detect vibrations in the ground and perceive objects and their environment through it.

First and foremost of Seismic Sense's applications is the ability to perceive surroundings. By sensing vibrations in the ground, the child can perceive her surroundings as precisely as normal sight. Practitioners can use the sense to detect things out of their line of sight, even right behind them. Obstacles that would normally obstruct regular vision, such as walls and thick dust clouds, are ineffective against Seismic Sense, and caverns and other cavities deep underground can also be detected by an acute Seismic Sense. Even earth that is not on the ground can be detected.

Another ability enabled by Seismic Sense is lie detection. The sense allows the youth to sense the interiors of humans, and any changes in their status. Since humans have a physical reaction when they lie, people with this skill can tell when one happens. However, the reaction can be suppressed by skilled liars, making her unable to tell if the statement is a lie. By extension, Seismic Sense should also allow users to sense internal injuries.

Seismic Sense is not without its limitations. Seismic Sense only detects things in contact with the ground; objects floating in water or thrown in the air are undetectable unless they are earth. The practitioner must also be in contact with solid ground to use the sense at all; again, if the user is in the air or water, or even standing on a non-earth solid such as ice, he will be unable to sense anything. Sand, although an earth-based substance, is not firm like normal earth, and renders Seismic Sense "fuzzy" and very imprecise. Uninterrupted contact with the ground is preferred for the user- an object such as a shoe sole interferes with the sense. The sense also has considerably less range than uninterrupted sight. Also, the sense does not allow for perception of facial features or written characters.

So, I kinda wanna contend against Authority of Might costing 40 exp. The technique itself is only 40 exp. Why is the ability to say "I am more powerful than my body splits" worth so much? Is it worth enough that I could buy the technique all over again, or more than half of what it takes to get tier 1? I sort of thought it would be a low cost technique.

Dispel - Victoria, with her affinity to electricity and lightning, can consume a source of similar energy with the touch of her hand. It doesn't add to her power, only takes from the source. So a force-field will become drained, and possibly rendered useless, or an electric item could be sapped and made into a paperweight.

Ki Absorb? Or is Venom Ki allowed for this?
