Well, as much as I hate having left Sage in the story arc with no ending like I did, I'd rather not write DBZ right now.
I'd prefer something with little or no 'superpowers,' to be honest. More down-to-earth characters, if that's cool with y'all. But I'm down for whatever sort of setting/universe you guys would prefer. If there's any sort of popular choice, I could try creating a setting based on your ideas and stuff. If everyone's just like 'I don't care' then plz don't complain if you don't like whatever I come up with independently. This is kind of your chance to voice your opinion and stuff. I'd love to hear your ideas!

but you're supposed to be able to read minds and adjust accordingly
How down-to-earth are you thinking about?

My plans to write with Alex were, more or less, based on very little superpowers. Post I started to write was his golfing with other business people.
So, yes, I'd be down for little to no superpowers.

Well, to be honest, I sort of have been toying with the idea of an RP universe where each character is given one power, but nothing like making fireballs or shit like that.
Something like flight, or limited healing, or shapeshifting, something like that.
I've also been thinking of writing in a pure 'no supernatural stuff' fiction. I'm not really as stubborn as I used to be though (baha), so I'm pretty flexible with what other people wanna do, and stuff.

Both of those things sound like good ideas.

I've been very much into a very very low fantasy thing lately. Where myths sometimes have validity and strange things happen, but no fire throwing demon gods are gonna tear up out of the ground and assault manhattan or anything.
I really love the richness of old mythology and I really appreciate when its intigrated into a story in a good way.

All sounds good. Like Undrask I also love old mythology transferred into modern society in shows like Supernatural, but that does have a heavier dose of "super". I'm game for either although the no supernatural stuff needs an interesting story/plot idea/scenario for me to engage in it. If it's just a "real life" thingamajig I'm probably not going to bother. I barely have enough content for one real life.

How about the easy stuff. Would you guys prefer a modern day scenario or a 'times of yore' type deal?

We all know black men can't be ninja's.

I vote modern ish, being within the past couple hundred years, and possibly slightly further ahead.

So looks like modern wins. Or near-future. Either way I don't care, and I guess slightly fantastical abilities, if you want them.
That said I have no ideas for a backdrop or anything like that but have been playing Prototype 2 a lot recently so my head is full of evil geneticists and military organizations.
I was kind of thinking along the lines of political intrigue and stuff like that, leaving you able to choose your role in (or out) of the situation, and just going from there.
But I am sort of planning this all off-the-cuff, plus I'm kind of in a hurry to get out of town right now, so, thoughts?

Literally whatever setting/story you wanna do, I'll write in it. Just don't expect too, too much.
