No more like a character that has a full range of abilities, she'll probably end up having super human endurance, speed, senses, etc.

Btw: I told you guys Sylar is a redeemable villian. He's not doing stuff "because he just feels like it", he's doing stuff to accomplish goals and the moral sides of those goals just don't matter to him. His current goal (as in season 2 for a short bit) is to prove to himself and others that he's NOT just a psychopath and that he can use the powers he's gathered for an actual accomplishment as well, rather than being the accomplishment.

Unfortunately, since they'r epushing this so early in the season, it's pretty obvious Sylar is going to turn around and stab Noah in the back at a critical moment towards the end.

Yea that was clear when he shut the doors let the black guy get away and sliced open the brain of the mexican guy who's powers weren't all that. Would I be considered a racist if I didn't want the mexican guy's powers? I mean...screaming/sonic waves? Maybe he thought Peter was in there? I dunno.

I actually really liked Jesse's power.

But regardless, I think the whole idea of absorbing powers is ridiculous in the Heroes universe because it feels like Sylar and Peter only use like...2-3 of their powers at any given time.

Peter should now have every power that Sylar has, plus Knox, Flint and Jesse's. He'll probably use maybe 5 of them by the end of this volume.

I think that Peter was not able to actually acquire powers from the villians as he was inside another's body at the time of it happening. I also don't quite know if he can absorb powers from his future self, as that'd just be cheating and cause a real resonance problem.

About Sylar... I know what you mean there, but at the same time I think (and this bothers me as much as it entertains me) that they are just trying REALLY hard to let their fans know which of their favorite characters are back, as well as re-establish broken storylines. They are trying to handle a LOT of different storylines immediately, and in some ways it hurts a bit, although I see why they are doing it. I for one missed seeing more involving Mohinder that episode.

Anyone else find irony in "The German" having the power of magnetism, ala Magneto? Yeah, that screamed of him being killed off early.

Jesse's power was sound manipulation, i read a spoiler in a magazine where Tim Kring expressed his power as - "Jesse can pretty much destroy anything or anyone."

We only got a taste of what Sylar now has.

Peter was outside of Jesse's body for a split second. I don't think time standing still would have stopped him from absorbing powers. And I think he also SHOULD get Future Peter's powers, though he probably won't. But technically and logically, he should.

On an interview I saw with the actor for Jesse on AotS, he said Jesse's original power was meant to be earthquakes but it didn't work out.

People seem to forget that Peter can't use a power if he doesn't know he has it. It's not like being around another Hero makes an alarm go off in his head. For example, in Season 1 he had no idea he was Invisible (around Claude) or that he could use Telekinesis (from meeting Sylar), in the latter case until way after the fact.

He has no idea what powers Mirai Peter has, so that might not be helpful. Furthermore, Peter's power works by calling up the emotion/memory of the people he's met, triggering his cells to transform and emulate the power. If he's never MET the people Mirai Peter has, he can't very well do that.

Edit: Also, come on, give the writers a break. Those two characters would be stupidly hard to write challenges for if they actually used every power.

This is true that Peter is basically "using" someone else's power. That doesn't mean one Peter can learn what the other Peter knows anymore than Sylar can gain all the abilities Peter has learned by studying his brain. He's "copying" the power, which isn't exactly the same as having it himself, despite accomplishing the same goals.

You guys also seem to forget that Mirai Peter's actual power is empathy =) Which Peter already has =D

Also, as for the argument that will come up involving Sylar and Peter absorbing his telekinesis, you must realize that Sylar has made his DNA like this, so they are HIS powers now. Peter is just replicating powers from the single empathy gene.

At least I'll have tango'd at all!
