I've made this exact case to the staff before. We really should not have mental stats. It would be much simpler if they weren't there. However, since we do have them, they need to be followed. The only problem I see with "intelligence" as a stat is that "intelligence" covers any topic of knowledge concievable.
I'm going to use Raditzu as an example, since I don't know how anyone else thinks of their character. Rad's intelligence is the second highest in the RPG. How many people would have guessed that from the way I write Raditzu? Yeah. His intelligence is based on a vast knowledge of fighting, humananoid anatomy, alien life forms, a mental database of techniques, various fighting styles, random folklore, and an extensive understanding of music theory. So, I'm using my intelligence stat to its fullest, but his "intelligence" is not applied to everything that it can be. Hell, Rad doesn't even know how to drive a car. Common, everyday things escape him because he has never had any interest in them. Its a way of using the stats to their fullest degree while keeping your character realistic and interesting.

Guldo...shhh. I was tired then and couldn't think. So be quiet. I back my opinion up and I was basically saying you don't HAVE to pay attention. But I suggest it. And you guys are basically arguing with Zarbon about the placement and what not of his points. Just because he says something about writing and typing and what not. We don't need a thousand posts because one person said something. Unless it's really bad or something. But it's annoying and I'm never looking in this thread again.

one thing that bothers me Goku Jr... see that there, three "dots"... not fifty. Try to cut down on that. And pleeeeease slow down when you type, a couple spelling mistakes is acceptable but every other word is not.

Just so ya know... it's called an ellipsis. And yes, typing a little slower would make what you're saying about fifty times easier to read, Goku Jr.

Fights were mentioned...well if anyone was smart they would look at stats and figure hoow to RP......
Staff looks at them( htey said it in a before thread, It was Koola Rad ans 1 or 2 other staf members that answered how it is dione) Pickjing a fight with A16 with one person is ummmmm pointless? LOl shut up did not pick it he did! But i could not escape either...........By means of ability or speed............see what I mean?
That brings me to my next lesson, kids.

Sounds like insulting. Easy now.
Edit: Not that you've done anything wrong; I just don't want to start throwing out insults.

o.o;;;
I didn't mean to start a whole big argument. All I meant was I thought it looked like people were relying purely on brute strength and a high Ki in their fighting. It had nothing to do with characters being better than others, statwise or RPing. I said that no one much cared for Koola's philosophies because he expressed that we shouldn't always rely on pure force in fighting. Forgive me for my lack of perception.

What are these "Koola's philosophies"?

I once read a thread (of which I have forgotten and cannot quote the source) where someone had a question about stats or something, and Koola explained how all the stats come into play during RPing. I called it a "philosophy" simply for lack of a better term and therefore began to falsely worship it.........
It was the subliminal message, I swear!
