Went and saw the movie, i thought it was good, scared me shitless. And no, i would never go there, or research more information about it either...i don't play with that type of shit.

I didn't see the movie because reviews gave it like 0/100 which is bad.

While Bra has the general idea, horror movies tend to be the opposite of that idea. Bad horror views often mean a bad horror movie. Good reviews often mean its an awesome, cutting-edge terror-fest.
The gory-meter follows about the same way.

Quote:Originally posted by Pan Oh snap! Pan just got Toma good! I don't like horror movies. I don't know why people want to go to a movie theater to watch a movie that will scare them shitless, give them nightmares that night, and possibly shorten their life span by putting that much strain on their heart. The only reason I could think of why horror movies are still around is because if you go there with a girl, they usually freak out long before you do, and grab onto you in the movies. The Ring scared me so much... probably because I always could expect when something freaky was about to happen, and it did.

People go to it because when you become scared adrenaline is rushed throughout your body, and with that some form of hormone which makes you happy, I believe.

I haven't seen It, yet, but I want to. I may have arachnophobia as well, but it seems liek a good movie.
Yea, The Ring wasn't scary at'll. I think I am pretty desensitized from horror movies as I've been watching them since I was like five years old. The thing that scares me the most (as far as regular fears go, I have greater fears, but those are more profound and emotional and such) are bugs in my house. They can outside for all I care, but when they are inside they freak the hell out o' me. I want to see Saw, sometime, I hear it's brilliant. I just need to mooch a Blockbuster's card off of somebody.
