I believe that's when you make someone go unconscious; assault is when they attack you without knockin' yea out. Harassment covers non-physical stuff (to an extent of course), I believe.

Seeing as I study Psychology, that's something I've come to expect There was a whole study done on altruism/'helping behaviour'. Basically how soon someone would come to your aid on a crowded train, with a number of different variables (race, clothes, gender, etc).

The thing you have to remember is, if you just saw two people fighting, would you try and intervene? After all, you have no idea who started it or whatever. Anyway, hope you're fine, I hate punks like that.
