Actually, I have something like Autism, but on a really small scale. I find it difficult....really difficult to: meet new people, talk to people (unless I know them very well) unless I'm on the computer, do stuff like dancing.

I need to go to a shrink...my mom says so at least.

That's basically shyness. Autism involves a lot more than just difficulty with communication. It's often characterised by a lack of willingness to communicate, or indeed, being happy just not to talk to anyone. In addition, you can be hypersensitive, in some cases not even wanting anything to touch your skin due to discomfort.

To answer PD's question (this is from what I've learned of autism, not personal experience) basically you can't get your mind around why other people do the things they do. You just don't understand why people want you to do things or help them, because you can't put yourself in their shoes. Basically, you don't understand other people at all.

That's basically what's up with me. I'm happy to be silent. I sometimes wish everyone would leave me alone....all the time >.> except when I'm in an exceptionally good mood.


EDIT: Oh and I usually do stuff like RP or play to take my mind off it, or it'll drive me crazy. I just don't understand why other have the need to....talk.

Well, it's jsut one of those boney small chips taht sit in-between the vertebrae and let them move. It's between C3-C4 I think. She has numbness in her right hand

I just now read that...Holy shit. I thought it was just my personality, didn't know it was a disorder. I'll have to somehow manage to get to a doctor on this and get it checked out with an official diagnosis...that scares the hell outta me. Thanks, Suppa for bringing that up.
