Harvest Moon Magical Melody

[Krillin]

I bought it yesterday afternoon. =)

Still haven't gotten to play it, and I've got work in twelve minutes, so it looks like I'll have to wait until much later tonight. Sucks. Today's gonna go by SO slow.

[OldYamcha]

I played Back to Nature. What console is that one on?

[Android-18]

Game Cube. It's the second best, FoMt being the first, in my opinion.

[Tobias]

THERE IS GONNA BE SPIN THE BOTTLE ON THE WII?!!!?!??

[Super Buu]

It's still not out in Europe.

[Tobias]

[Android-18]

Where did you get that? Or did you make it?

[Tobias]

I wish.

[Vegeta]

Animal Crossing > Harvest Moon

[Raditzu]

Let us know whatcha think of it, Krill.

[Hellfighter 17]

This title almost made me cry. =(

[Tobias]

Is there one o' these for advance? I'm not buying a gamecube or DS just to try it but I might break out my ole SP.

[Android-18]

Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town for the SP/GBA.

[Super Buu]

And many consider FoMT to be the best HM to date (MM perhaps excluded). I'd agree, from what I've played.

[Android-18]

FoMt
MM

The others were...surprisingly disappointing. Of course I have yet to play the N64 one, and I think there was one for the SNES, not sure. But yeah those two are my fav, in that order.

As soon as I started it up, I immediately knew that it wouldn't be as good as I kinda thought it would be. I'm not one for the super cutesy. A Wonderful Life was a beautiful atmosphere, even if the gameplay was slightly flawed. I knew they were going more cartoony with MM, but I didn't know they were going overboard with it.

Simply put, it's just too cutesy for me. That said, from what I've played so far, I'll definitely love it as a game, but I'm left wishing that Natsume took the games a bit more seriously. Perfect, it isn't. If they could take the face from A Wonderful Life, along with some better dialogue (which Natsume has NEVER been known for), then it would definitely get an A+ in my book. As it is, it's looking at an A-.

Still good enough for obsession. =)

By far, the best HM game I've played has to be the one that was on the N64. FoMt seemed a bit... eh... bulky. I got used to the chibi appearance.

[Android-18]

They decided to go with the Animal Crossing angle, that's why it looks so cute-esk. I got used to it, and find it cute when my little girl nods her head in her little manner lol. They knew animal crossing was a big hit, and wanted to move back from the more serious style.

I do agree that if they had taken the graphics from Wonderful life, and put it on MM's game play, we would have had quite a game.

I had bought Wonderful life for 80% graphics, 10% for just owning it, and 10% to try it. I was so disappointed in it.
