We haven't allowed this in the past to keep the rare techs (ie. fusion) from become common.
I don't think it would be an entirely bad idea to list whether a technique can be taught to one member by another, though. Having said that, that list would probably pretty limited. ![]() "It's on my brain, driving me insane. It's on my mind, all of the time, and if it left... I would be fine."

Wasn't the call made a while back that characters could already do any move (such as Special Beam Cannon), but that the specific moves they chose from are just their best moves performed most efficiently?
Unless things have changed, teaching moves to other people is theoretically unnecessary.

I think Violet was leaning more on the tech part of the site like metalbinding, healing, ect.

I thought that ruling was changed not implimented. Because its retarded mostly.

I missed that, my mistake, then no there has been no change in the rules as far as I know Broli, anyone can pretty much learn moves like Special Beam Cannon and Kamehameha by gaining 50 TP worth of INT.
EDIT: So there is no point in having someone teach a best move unless it is completely custom in nature.

Ok, fine. What about special techs? Unique moves that a player has and that player can teach it to a person, but that person cannot teach it to others. If other player's want to learn, they go to the source.

Didn't Burter choose one of Bra's attacks for a new best move because the fought ot gether so much? Yeah, I think so. So with best moves its already possible.

Basically if something's been given or allowed OOC, you can roleplay getting it however you like IC. Like Bra said, people can share best moves, but only if that person had 50 unused int. And if someone gets given say, Body Split in a saga, and it's not been explained IC, you could roleplay your friend who already has the technique teaching it to you.
Either way, the work has to be put in

I know you don't have to, but it's an option if you want some 'IC' way of learning it other than just developing it someday.

That sounds like the best moves system. o.O Where members are free to teach their moves if they want.

People can create and teach best moves. If a member has a technique and another member has earned that same technique, the learned member can teach the other. I don't think we'd have it so you can create techniques like teleportation, you have best moves.

There's already Super Saibamen and Saibashards. I suppose the admins could use that idea if they wanted to stretch it further, but I'd say the saibamen have already been stretched pretty far
![]() Some more movement from the RRA would be cool though, or a RR shop like you described. ![]() Bra Wrote:People are dumb, essentially. |
