Medieval Total War II and Civ 4 if you like strategy games. I would suggest NWN II as well but you didn't like KOTOR and its a similar engine. And really buggy too. Damn you Obsidian
Lego Starwars II is a guilty pleasure of mine.

Until now, I've pretty much just had to hold back the tears when a cool PC game comes out, since my Laptop can't run shit. But I'm getting a new desktop provided by my university this week or the next, and it's pretty powerful. 3.4GHz Dual-Core Processor, a gig of ram, and a 245mb graphics card, if the specifics are important.
So what I want to know is, what good PC games should I get? I already have Oblivion and Black & White 2 ready to be installed. F.E.A.R is another thing I'm considering. But I need to know more! Bear in mind that I can't play online games on my college connection. =(
TES: IV Oblivion
TES: III Morrowind (The PC Expansions r0x0rs)
Halo: Combat Evolved PC (It gets boring, and is kind-of an online game, but you can still have fun downloading modded levels and stuff)
Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings (You can get gold edition, too, way better)
Age of Empires III (Buy the expansion if you want, but it's nothing special)
If you'd read the post you'd know I had Oblivion!!111 Dammit!111 Eleventy!111 >=O
In fact I'm playing it now. On my other computer, like a true nerd. I really wanna res that Oblivion topic so I can rave about how cool my guy is (Argonian, of course.) but I don't wanna necro twice one day. >_>

I didn't mind the second one. Its way more casual than the first, and they go to great lengths to make it pretty easy.
Last time I played through, I did it as a light-side force user (Consular or something... I don't remember what they're called) and didn't have any problems at all.
The second one seemed WAYY dumber, and, in some cases, freakier and darker than the first, not to mention with a worse story line and starting-area.

Ohh, sorry, my bad. I was in a hurry and skimmed that. Imperial + High Elf > Argonian.

I'm pissed with oblivion right now, when trying to close an oblivion gate one of the NPCs (is that the right word?) got in my way when I was slaying a daedra and I end up killing him. Then when I got back to Bruma the guard caught me and put me in jail, as if that weren't bad enough, I had to take uber stat hits, -4 to hand to hand, I never use hand to hand but still, fricken hell. >=(
EDIT: Also anyone know which is better, the Pc version or 360? Just curious, I heard somewhere that the 360 version was better.

Seriously. My archer's never been killed, or captured. Not once.
I have an 80,000 bounty.

UltimoDemon (3:16:26 PM): I think that is very likely, yes.

Greg0rz (3:16:45 PM): do you mind if I quote you?
UltimoDemon (3:16:49 PM): Not at all.

PC, if your computer is powerful enough, purely for the mods and such (I haven't played the 360 version so I can't tell you about controls, though). Graphically it's guaranteed to look good on the 360, but with tweaking the PC version can look as good (or better, especially with a lot of the texture-replacing mods).

If you're not going to download/make any mods or anything, the 360 version is way better. But, thanks to the mods, as SB said, the PC version of any elder scrolls game owns all.

Yeah, nothing like making entire wars with custom-made bandits and a battalion of imperial legionnaires inside some city, constantly adding more bandits until they reach the leader of said city, and then you drop down from the heavens (literally, cause you haxxed your way up there) with some mismatched spiky armor and one shot fireball the entire army.
=O
I made 50 goblin tribes, and modded new people called the "pr4wnz0r3 guards" They had full ebony and daedric claymores, and are 100 levels above the user's level. They like....pwned the goblins in one hit, but there were so many goblins constantly respawning...it was no good. Soon, all of cheydinhal fell, and the ownz0r guards held up their last defences in the chaple undercoc (SP?) Where they fought until my computer crashed. True story, btw.
