Alright, so I'm building my own Arcade Cabinet and running MAME. So I can run most games on it. I'm looking for suggestions on games to make sure I get. 4 players is a HUGE plus, as this is going to be a 4 player cabinet. Oh, and it's probably better if they're a little bit older because the newer games are harder to emulate, at least the 3D games don't seem to work with MAME.
Games I'm running for sure:
Altered Beast
Air Busters
Art of Fighting
Afterburner II
King of Fighters
Bucky O' Hare
X-Men
Knights of Valor
Golden Axe II
Pac-Man
Gigawing
Gunbird 1 & 2
Bomberman
Capt America and the Avengers
Metal Slug 1, 2, 3, 4, X
Also, discuss sweet arcade games.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! I can't believe you forgot that for four-player games. I would have suggested Metal Slug, but you've got them ... all. XD
Though you wouldn't be able to play this because it has a trackball, the arcade game I remember most vividly was what was apparently called '
SegaSonic the Hedgehog'. I remember when I was a kid I tried to find anywhere that had the same machine, but I only ever saw it once. I was like, 8 or something ridiculous, and with my brother and my dad we had 3 players. It was awesome.

I've got all the wood cut out and I'm working on sanding the edges. The buttons are on their way and I need to figure out what to paint on the cabinet side...

Haha, no. I need to make a collage of video game characters in photoshop to paint on there.
I should make a workshop thread and see if I can get some help for it too.

Marvel VS. Capcom 2.
It's not technically 4 player, but you could just switch off the stick and buttons when the time comes.

The games don't
have to be four-player, Waff just wants to get as much use out of the four sticks as possible.

Virtual On. That game is fucking great. Kind of reminds me of a beefed up Gundam back in the day.

Virtual On is actually the best arcade game ever made, but it loses a lot of the experience without the special cabinet.

Yeah, you can buy those sticks though. But the game isn't supported in MAME yet.
Bought wiring and shit just now... going to work on the CP layout and then start drilling.
