I'm still giddy , I do have a question which I decided to ask here instead of creating a post in the QSU, which I think I'll do if it isn't answered here.

For those of us who may create a custom character 'offspring' would we be able to begin that now or not?

I believe we said that if you stayed a cannon, you would be expected to use the images of that cannon character from there out, no more "can I use cloud for Yamucha" type stuff.

Uh... no. I'm pretty sure we didn't. There's no reason to, so long as the people who stay canon make wise decisions. It's not like we can't say "no" to someone on a case-by-case basis.

I think if we excercise the pictures as we are now with the Artistic interpretation thread, everything should be ok. Although, it would be good to amend it with a list of who is using what as a representation of thier characters. Perhaps have a set list of three they can use and after that, unless they are willing to sacrifice one of the three on their list, they can't choose another version?

Such as:

I want to use Faye Valentine, Tifa Lockheart and, for shits and giggles, Angelina Jolie for Violet.

Later, I decide I want to use Misty from Pokemon. With her hair colored purple. I would have to choose which one of my set list of three to knock off if I wanted to use misty. Perhaps one knockoff every couple months or so. Make sense?

Borgos: We're not going to let you make changes after the reset that we wouldn't let you make now.

What will probably happen after the reset is we'll be less lenient with Artistic Interpretation. That's not official, just an educated guess at what will end up happening.
