We don't know as yet.
We're working on something in order to make the skip work. If a grandiose disaster helps act as a catalyst, then we'll use one. If we don't need it, then we won't. I'm not trying to be vague. We honestly haven't finalized that yet; we're working on the structure of the game itself most of the time lately. "I wasted time and now time doth waste me."

Why is everyone assuming that we are going to be just tossing this in within the next month? We don't know. We are still finalizing some details but the biggest portion needing done is coding and well, its not getting done right now b/c Jeroen has some complications right now. So just continue what you are doing.

Reijin was handling the details of the saga, so he would be the person to ask about that. However, I think he was going to wait until he had some corrospondence with VJ (about a projection of how long the coding could take) in order to try and line up the saga as closely as possible to the completion of the coding. In regards to Max, I'm barely able to juggle swinging in right now and answering the questions regarding the situation, especially the repeated ones. So please drop the accusations, because for someone that was returned from a ban on a 1-10ish vote, you are walking a fine line of sugarcoated jabs.
But yes, currently the mods and all are really busy. Burter is trying to setup things regarding his new store setup and anything else he needs to do (I think people keep forgetting that he DOES have 3 kids and a wife to attend to and his own business to run) and this place is actually his escape from that. To demand he snap to attention kinda sucks, although it comes with the position. For the others, I don't know. Everyone's got their committments that they have to attend to. We said many times that this is going to take awhile and for people to go on and do the sagas and tieups they won't since we'll be taking steps to avoid "destroying their work" anyways. Rad and I have been fairly active in the staff forum with tweaking numbers (we have to map out how much growth is going to happen after some time so that we can get things properly setup, its more than you'd think) and we also have other commitments that we have to attend to. I voted for 5-10 years in the future...2 or 3 doesn't really give enough time for the worlds to develop, Goverments take more time than and if you think about it, if we want to say that the world has changed a bit, it would take more than 5 years to get anything in stone.
So yeah, lol, 5-10 years is my vote. |
