Rock and Roll all Night

[Raditzu]

That's what I'll be doing, since I just picked up Guitar Hero 3. Oo-rah!

[Toshiro]

I've played the demo. And I proved what I had hoped to be true.

It can be played with a normal controller =D

I'm begging for it for x-mas as I have no moneyz ;.;

[Blind Man]

HELL YES.

I can't friggin beat the last boss battle. This guy is fackin ridiculous.

[Raditzu]

The boss battles are sick. Great addition to the game.

[Android-18]

My bf and his roommate got this too, lol. However my bf and I played tales of the abyss last night together cuz he only plays guitar hero 3 when his roommate wants to.

[Raditzu]

Has anyone bought any of the videos yet? They actually sounded pretty interesting (a first) but buying all the songs got first priority.

[Blind Man]

I haven't bought the videos. I got really excited though when I realized there was a guitar with a fetus inside it. Bought that as soon as I saw it.

Through the Fire and the Flames just sounds SO much more epic when you're playing it. It's beautiful. And it hurts. A lot.

[Raditzu]

I bought the LP Custom. Its just so pretty.

[Nappa]

Ugh. They put Dragoncrap in there? How gay.

[Blind Man]

♫ Someone in this thread is not like the others, someone in this thread is just not the same. ♫

[Saz]

It can be played with a normal controller =D

SAY WAAAAH?!

Oh hell yes, I'm checking this shit out.

[Saz]

Damn, I enjoyed that far more than I thought I would. How could something so simply be so fun? I'm really tempted to go buy the game now. =[

That's been the consensus since GH1.

How did someone not get this right sooner?

It should also be a good indication of how ridiculously awesome Rock Band will be.

[Saz]

The price is pretty much the only thing holding me back right now. £70 for a game is a bit much, especially since it's totally not the type of game I'm used to, so I'm not sure about it's long term playability. Plus my last experience of something even remotely similar to guitar hero was the eye toy for the PS2. I played it maybe 3 times in the space of a 3 years.... >.>

But I guess you can't really compare the eye toy to guitar hero.

[Raditzu]

The great thing about GH is once you've unlocked all the songs you can flip on you console, quick play a couple of songs and be good.

Its a great pick-up-and-play game with tons of replay value.

[Blind Man]

*rock*

[Bojack]

There was a playable demo at Best Buy (I was there like an hour ago) but it wasnt working. Fail.

On a related note, Slash + commercials = makes me want shit. The new ad for GHIII made me go from completely indifferent to "I need this now". http://youtube.com/watch?v=u6X0YtvKwy8

[Kami]

I need to play this game.

This guy shreds the hell out of some really hard song .Shit. Just listen to how fast he's strumming on this thing.

I mean, shit.

[Blind Man]

Ya, that's the song I posted my pic for =P

I play it at least once a day generally, it keeps me in shape.
