Being able to use downed enemies as shields is pretty sweet. I hadn't seen that before.

In the second clip, he talks about how in the first game everyone felt that the shotgun was the most effective starting weapon, since you could quite easily close the gap against players using the assault rifle by rolling forward through gunfire and blowing them to pieces. So in this one they've made it so you can't just rush forward under fire. I found that quite interesting. It'll definately mix up the multiplayer gameplay, might make online play less of a run and gun shooter kind, and more like the single player gameplay.

Is anyone else totally stoked that this is coming out in six days time? Honestly I can't remember the last time I was this excited about a game, it's ridiculous.

The first one is definitely worth playing. If you have a friend, just rent it and you can bust out the single-player in one sitting.

On a mostly unrelated note, I'm really excited for the 4 player co-op in Resistance 2.

More games need to support co-op for those of us that have friends. =(

Does GOW 2 have 4 player co-op, I think I remember hearing that it did. Anyway I'll probable just find some random people on Xbox live to play co-op with. /shrug

Yeah, that's one thing that pulls me in even further with awesome games. Being able to do the storyline with a mate or several. There's all these MMOs and multiplayer support games for 1v1, but where's all the co-op? Do game designers think we're all 49 year old virigins still living in their parent's basement?

Co-op is the most awesomely under-utilised thing in videogames. It's why I'm looking forward to Left 4 Dead so much.
