That would have worked, except Rogues only get CoS at level 66. As for diminishing returns on Fear, they wear off if you don't use them for 15 seconds, and that was obviously a prolonged fight. And he did Vanish, but the DoTs removed it.

The Rogue was probably shit, but I still think Warlocks need fixing. One major thing I would like to see is that if a player gets killed, all dots that he placed on anything get removed. It would fix a lot of the "you beat the lock but die anyway" issues. Just seems to make sense - you have to kill the one that placed the curse to break the curse.

I've seen GG on a bit, leveling fairly fast for a first timer (I've got a friend that started about two days ago and he's a 30 Druid now, but he's played alot before and was simply restarting at our server again).

I also have seen Buukin on a bit, but not since the very first day. Could just be that I haven't been on much though.

Pretty much is PvP an all out thing in terms of lvl 60s can take out lvl 10s and vice versa?

If anyone here played DAoC before, is this WoW PvP server similar to DAoC Mordred Server?

You are correct. 70s can camp lowbies. That's when you sigh, and log your other alt. It teaches you not to take it so seriously and is a great time for freshair, browsing Chubbs, or taking a piss.

I don't see where this has anything to do with this server's thread, but there is some roster post somewhere. I think. Its got Armory links to most people, but it seems the consensus is for most to reroll horde on some server, but I simply can't do it given that I don't have the time to devote there, regardless of my interest. Plus I'd prefer a pvp server.

Yes, 70's can camp lowbies, if:

Lowbies are in the appropriate area (contested)

OR

Lowbies are retarded enough to attack the 70 in the lowbie's 'safe territory', where you are completely safe from PvP unless YOU decide to attack THEM. For example, in Horde territory, a Horde lowbie never needs to worry about getting ganked by Alliance in the low levels unless he's stupid enough to run up to one and attack. That flags him as "accepting the consequences".

That's nothing. You should have seen old Molten Core raids where priests would Mind Control someone when they were walking over the chainlinks fifty feet above lava and then made them jump down in. Or duels where the priest makes them jump off the Ironforge mountain. Or even the times a priest MCs me while I'm in a Neutral town and has me smack a guard so they kill me.

So I have a Dwarven Hunter on Altar of Storms now. He's only level 13, but I'm liking the way Hunter plays so far. I had a couple of questions, though.

Once you pick two professions (I have Mining and Engineering) is there any way to switch one of them for another? (ie, switch from Mining to Herbalism)

Where can I learn to use mail armor? I thought I could learn it in Stormwind, but I'm here and don't see an armor trainer.

You can unlearn Mining to pick up another skill, if you want. Just click on the skill underneath your character page and hit the deselect button.

Also, you can't learn Mail until 40. And it should be from any Hunter trainer.

Lastly, on request from Josh I made a Draenei Paladin named Namyloh. If anyone can guess the signicance of that name, I'll give you a whole shiny copper piece.
