My bloodelf hunter is kicking ass.

I can only play my 43 paladin with my boyfriend after he works on on weekends, so I'm leveling a hunter and now its 19 xD. I'm doing lowbie quests to rep grind .

I think I'm going to make a Draenei Hunter. Been thinking about it for a while.

Anyway, I hit 70 about a week ago. Started Karazhan 3 days ago, almost killed the Curator (7%!), going to clear through again tonight.

I assure you, from start to finish, this happens more often than it should. I get sick of this.

For those that don't get it, Warlocks don't make food or water, Mages do. At lvl 70, I still have random people even level 55s asking me. Its really irritating, just like "can u port me" is, b/c I can't do that. "Summon me" is a different rant.

Since posting in the stickied thread on this subject would be bad form, I'll do it here:

Max. Alliance loses because they suck, not because Horde is overpowered. Now that both sides have every class, the Alliance can no longer blame their horrific noobishness on not having Shamans.

Everyone has good racials. It's all balanced, except maybe Undead WotF, but even then, it's easy to replicate with trinkets.

Yeah I was gonna say that. I've played on both sides, and I've noticed a lot more immature bad players on alliance rather than Horde.

However once they gave us Bloodelves we recieved a lot of Alliance players, and it was so damn annoying.

There is no difference between the playerbase. Sometimes you do get the more dickish types on Horde due to "I want someone badass and hardcore looking" testosterone types, but I've experienced those same arm flexers on Alliance as well. There is no "Alliance players just suck that's why they lose on all servers at the same things". Sucking does amount to alot, but to assume that EVERY Alliance group from EVERY battlegroup loses just because the Horde always have the more skilled players is just ludicrous.

I do personally believe Racials have a lot to add to it. As far as Horde go, for Warlocks you can play Orc or Undead for your good choices. Trinkets can cover for WotF, but funny enough, an UD Lock will almost always beat down an Alliance Lock, due to the combination of WotF, freeing a trinket slot for something else, and also having +Resistance to Shadow. With the new dot resist checks, that adds to alot. An Orc Lock has the extra dmg output that does actually help from my experience on my tested one (although I didn't level it to 70, but have done a lot of reading) and also have the Stun Resist, which helps against their worst matchup a bit, Rogues.

Alliance can choose... Gnome. To choose anything for a Lock other than Gnome is to have chosen wrong. Humans have that fantastic little Diplomacy ability, but what does that matter in PVP? Perception? So what, you didn't take your Felhunter quest? I mean, that thing only helps against Rogues when you get the jump on them or they approach you from the front (we know how that never happens). Orc stun resist helps in the more likely "I'm being ganked by a Rogue" situation.

The point behind this? When it comes to PVP, I tend to find the Horde side holding the advantage as far as Racials. Horrendously so. I find the Alliance to be skewed more towards PVE. As a result, it just so happens the Horde dominate BGs below AV (I don't know on EotS since it isn't really established) and Alliance seem to accel at getting through Raids.

Let me point out obvious examples on the PVE part. In Karazhan, there is the boss Shade of Aran. Now as a Gnome, while in this fight, he'll teleport the group right onto him, cast a mass slow on everyone, and then charge an AOE Arcane Explosion. Its very easy to just run to the side as soon as you get ported and beat the AE, but as a Gnome I can use my EA to counter it and run full speed and begin charging up a slowcast spell to time right with his AE, netting me one extra nuke every time.

There are numerous other fights where I have found EA to actually be effective lately. In the fight with the Maiden of Virtue, she does the aoe sap thing that I can't remember the name of since its been awhile. Rogues can CLoS, Mages can Ice Block, and Pallies could Bubble (not sure if they still can). Additionally Dwarves can use Stoneform.

What will Horde do? Thunderstomp? I don't think WotF breaks that either. Arcane Torrent? No. As far as I see, Horde lack out on racials when it comes to raiding, and the Alliance accel there. Is this "Oh the Horde are obviously skilled then b/c they can get through raids too"? Not really. Most people play both sides, and the same kids that want to be super NELF OOMkin will turn around and play the punk rocker UD Mage just to turn right around and play a pink haired anime Gnome and switch right back over to a DBZ haired blood elf.

To be honest, I've been wishing to play a BElf Rogue, but we know that shit is going to need to be dealt with. I don't want to imagine it.

Fear Ward... Yeah, advantage on Alliance side, but it mainly helps on Raids, when people are kept up. In BGs, that just gets whiped the moment some Hunter two shots you anyways, and the Priest isn't going to keep buffing like a kissing booth. So it really just points out the same thing I said earlier. Whereas 70% of the Horde seem to play UD, which just happens to basically amount to the same amount of people get might get buffed by the 30% Dwarves, since we know 50% of Alliance plays NElf.

Honestly, I don't know of any class other than Priest that I'd play Dwarf for, and that's in contention with Draenai in my eyes due to the sheer greatness of Gift of the Naaru and still having Fear Ward, with Shadow Resistance. As for Rogue, you can play NElf if you want for the extra Stealth, but its not really needed for the most part since you should come from behind. For that, I'd choose Gnome. And the same with Warriors, Gnome. For the same reason, Escape Artist. To deal with the same weakness, in that people beat you by kiting you. I don't like Dwarven Warriors anymore than I like NElf Rogues. And I see no point in Human anything, unless you are really casual, to help you get your Rep easier for the lower playtime.
