I enjoy the interplay between Alistar and Morrigan, but yeah, she's pretty cold and unfeeling so I wouldn't want to know her in real life. But as characters they're great.

After you, uh, ...help her out, Morrigan becomes a sweetheart.

Well, to you, anyway.

She's still a bitch to Alistair and he absolutely loathes her.

I like making Alistair happy, he's cute when he opens up to the main character...if you're a girl.

I'm going to reveal a spoiler, but I'm going to try and phrase it so it's unlikely most who haven't already done it will know what I'm talking about.

Captain Janeway is not what she seems. And it sucks.

Yeah it does suck...same with Tuvok.

Just did all three Tuvok endings. I liked the "compromise" ending where Tuvok is the only one that gets it.

You can tell Tuvok's trying to remember to emphasize stuff and speak with emotion but his role as a Vulcan keeps bleeding in and he keeps going back to that careful monotone. It's kind of funny.

Speaking of: Dragon Age has good voice acting. Like, really good. I'm used to such horrible VAs that this is a really nice treat.

I'M LOOKING AT YOU, OBLIVION AND FALLOUT! LEARN FROM THIS! PLEASE!

I like the facial expressions, too. Haven't seen too much most of the time, but it's nice to see the face match the tone and words.

Fallout wasn't so bad.

...some of it wasn't bad.

...Liam Neeson wasn't bad.

Right.

Neeson in Fallout and Picard in Oblivion were the only good voice actors in either. And they were both either removed or killed straight away.

So I'm trying to get Alistair to unlock Templar for me. Do I need to get him to like me or can he only do it after a certain part of the story?

If it's about the story, I don't need/want specifics.

You can also just buy the book from the dwarves...

I obviously didn't know that. I finished the fight in Ostagar, got to the world map, went to the town (forgot the name) and I've just finished half a dozen quests or so.

He'll teach you eventually. Took awhile, for me at least, though. Or you couldbuy the book and reload a saved game from before that. not cheating...

I just don't want to "waste" levels up because I'm running around trying to get an unlock. I think I've established pretty well that Alistair is never really going to like me.

I guess it's off to the Dwarves, then. EDIT: Is that a bad place to go at level 7?

... The camp in the upper right corner of the world map where you talk to your teammates for increased bonuses, give presents for increased bonuses, restock ingredients and get DLC quests?

Is that a question? I... don't know the answer to it.
