I think it was just because they were related to the game, but not from her in any way. There was only one post that actually contained her personal opinion and that message, in my humble eyes, would have been fine. Instead she just seemed to use this as some sort of twitter for bad press regarding DA2, showing us material from other sites that weren't even made by her (or so the formatting suggests, it might have been).

I posted things that I thought were interesting news about DA2. I wanted to share it with you guys, and then have discussions about it. Since this is a forum after all.

I don't know Leo, because I wasn't the one who said it, a Bioware employee did. The same one who wrote the story for Dragon Age 2. The same game being discussed in this thread.

Dragon Rage is one of the worst possible attacks in Pokémon. I mean seriously, a flat 40HP? LAME and a half.

I actually played the demo of DA2. While it was very pretty, there was something about it that I just wasn't feeling. It may have been the fact that, at least to me, the combat felt...WoWish. I don't know. I really enjoyed the first one. I might have to give the game a real try instead of just the demo. I'd be willing to bet that once the characters are developed, I won't care as much about the combat.

I'd be willing to bet that once the characters are developed, I won't care as much about the combat.

It's not really RPG style combat at all. It's very hack and slash and fast-paced, which people are finding very strange. When Bioware was creating the Dragon Age series, they basically promised it was going to be the "spiritual predecessor to Baldur's Gate". Which was a decent promise for Origins, but then it's like they completely threw that whole idea out the window and decided to make it appeal to people who love fast paced combat games, and not your typical RPG fan. And while that's not a good reason to hate the game, why did they keep saying beforehand that those were there intentions? It's like they were trying to attract people who love RPGs with all these promises of great old school RPG features, but then you play the actual game, and it's not a RPG in the slightest. Of course that's going to piss some people off. You have very little character customization/story, and all of the responses you can make to people are basically like "Yes, Very Much Yes, Extremely Yes" and you never have any idea if it's really going to affect what you do in the game at all. Basically, if you play Dragon Age 2 expecting to sit down and have an awesome RPG experience, you're going to be completely disappointed. But if you play it because you don't really care how it plays in terms of genre/game style, you probably might enjoy it. I didn't enjoy it, but that's just my personal opinion.

I don't appreciate posts that contain a bunch of crap taken out of context for the purpose of creating drama. I read through all the posts I deleted and did so for the stated reason.

This will be the last post in which I explain why a post of Milk Bubble's gets deleted as I have now done so twice. Feel free to argue or complain, but know it won't get you anywhere or provoke a response from me.

This spiritually saddens me greatly because evidently a skillbar and auto-attacks now mean it's like WoW, despite so many games before it had it. T_T To be fair though, the fluid attack animations does take some time to get used to. For PC users, R is the best button in the entire game. It loots corpses that's close to you. It opens and unlocks chests close to you and best of all? It's the attack nearest target button.

Just start a new "Dragon Age rumours, gossip and cherrypicked screenshots" thread. My problem with the posts is that you're bludgeoning us repeatedly with your opinion long after the discussion went as far as it would in like/hate. When the game wasn't out yet, I was vaguely interested in all the gossip bullshit because it told me how the game might differ from Origins, and whether it would be any good.

Now it's out, and I'm no longer interested because I can play the game myself and form my own opinion. By all means, tell me what you didn't like about the game. That's why I'm in this thread: I want to hear about other people's experiences with the game, and share my own. But saying "Bioware's employees are dicks, their fans are creepy, it's not Baldur's Gate, and some guys from 4chan feel REALLY STRONGLY about some stuff, thus I don't like the game", and then just doing that over and over is straightforward threadshitting.

Nobody should have to explain this shit =(

You started the thread Rose, so I'd understand if you came in, said "This is my thread I'd like only discussion relating to personal experiences while playing the game and nothing else." Then go nuts after that, delete away, but until then what was posted was perfectly valid.

I care because I don't want to see my stuff vanishing in the future, would you? Or cant you see beyond the fact that you didn't like what was being said?

If I went into the LoL thread and started telling everyone they should stop playing because X Y and Z, and then everyone was like "ok I see your point but I like the game" and then I was like "but X Y and Z is as such" and repeated, I would eventually get told to make another thread to bitch about it and stop shitting up the game discussion. And rightly so. If you disagree with that, then I guess we just have different ideas about what makes a good forum.

To be absolutely clear, I've had no problems with your posts. Most people in this thread have said bad things about the game, myself included. There's an obvious difference between those posts and Milk Bubble's posts.
